Saturday Is Free Comic Book Day

Freecomicbookday
This doesn't have much to do with fashion, but it does concern one of The Shophound's favorite things: Free Stuff!
As Iron Man looks poised to become a massive smash hit movie, and all any fashion blogger can write about is what celebrities are attending the Met's Superhero-themed Costume Institute Gala with which designers, it's worth noting that tomorrow, Saturday May 3rd, is Free Comic Book Day, an annual event when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.
This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the particular pleasure of regressing into childhood entertainment, or at least indulging in a free guilty pleasure.
