New York Fashion Week: Ladies And Gentlemen: The Big Gift Bag

Every year, journalists who register with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week are eligible to receive a big bag of swag. Picking it up is always a highlight of the week. The design varies from year to year, and this time, the sponsor is, obviously Mattel.
Getting this thing home required that The Shophound carry a big, shiny, pink Barbie bag in public for about 25 minutes, which is about 24 minutes too long. It was also remarkably heavy. Here are the contents:

Clearly, it's the 2 bottles of Vitamin Water and several books that are weighing this bag down.
There seems to be a distinct lack of cosmetics, and more miscellaneous other stuff. On the plus side, we are spared the many bottle openers and corkscrews that have filled our kitchen drawer.
After the jump, compare this season's bag to last. Even though it's heavier, it seems to contain less, and we, in our infinte sense of entitlement are a little miffed. We are definitely missing the box of cookies. And, of course, a big pink vinyl Barbie tote has limited potential for future use. Come on sponsors!
