While the store has been denying it to the press, it looks pretty likely that Emanuel Ungaro will be closing its Madison Avenue boutique at the end of the month. That means that even if you want to buy the critically reviled Lindsay Lohan "artistically directed" Spring collection, there won't actually be anyplace in New York to find it. According to The Awl, customers are being told that the store is closing on February 27^th, while press is nervously being assured that the store is "fine".
Frankly, considering how much the brand has declined lately,we are surprised that the store has lasted this long.
