NEW SoHo ADDITIONS:

Jérôme Dreyfuss Has Opened

Dreyfusimage006
We just got a welcome news flash for a dreary, drizzly day. The much anticipated Jérôme Dreyfuss boutique on Broome Street in SoHo has finally opened. We have not gotten a chance to visit it yet ourselves, but the kind folks tasked with promoting the shop have sent us some pictures. Above, see one of the Ron Arad furniture pieces in the middle of the store which look like a perfect place to deposit your shopping weary spouse/boyfriend/child/lady-in-waiting while you peruse the colorful handbags. As we speculated a few weeks ago, Dreyfuss has retained and restored the building's original white tiled interior and built a wooden structure inside it to display merchandise and hold stock.
This is only Part One of this Spring's most anticipated opening. In the next month or so, Isabel Marant, the designer's wife is expected to debut her own boutique next door, bringing renewed life to Broome Street.
