TODAY IN ANIMALS: Pet Adoption Returns To
John Bartlett This Weekend
John Bartlett This Weekend
April 14, 2010
It's pet time again at John Bartlett.
Anyone feeling the urge to adopt a cat, kitten dog or puppy should plan on heading down to John Bartlett's West Village boutique this Saturday for their Spring adoption event in conjunction with The North Shore Animal League. The store's regular customers will, by now, be very familiar with John's three legged animal companion, Tiny Tim, pictured here with his siblings Millie and Huff, and John. You can provide a much needed home for a sweet dog or cat just like them from Noon to 5 PM (John will presumably not be available for adoption, sorry kids). John tells us that along with the expected mystery breeds, the NSAL will also be bringing purebreds rescued from puppy mills.
If that doesn't wrench at your heartstrings, there's always the clothes. John's Spring line is in, including the last season of his stylish and well priced collection for Claiborne, so even if you don't have the inclination to adopt an animal, it's still a good time to stop by and say Hi to John.
North Shore Animal League Spring Pet Adoption Event at John Bartlett Saturday April 17th from Noon to 5 PM, 143 Seventh Avenue South at Charles Street, West Village
