AWARDS CIRCUIT: Here Are Your 2013 CFDA Award Nominees

It's nomination time for the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards. There are some familiar names (including, oddly in the Swarovski Awards for young designers) but it's hard to argue that they aren't worth of recognition. Maybe it's time for more than three nomination slots for the top awards. The field is certainly large enough theses days. There are also some nice, well earned surprise on the list too, like Duckie Brown's nod for Menswear Designer of the Year. The longtime indie menswear label showed a stellar Fall collection. Awards will be presented on June 3rd and streamed the next day on Style.com. Here's the full list:
