SAMPLE CIRCUIT: Rag & Bone Surprise Sample Sale Starts Tomorrow —Allegedly + Cadet, Hugo Boss & Seize sur Vingt

It's been a spotty post- Holiday month for the Sample Sale world, but this week brings a last minute heavy hitter that mysteriously abandoned its usual early December time slot. seasoned sample sale shoppers know that most designers like to be pretty consistent with their sample sale dates, often holding them as close to the same weeks every season as possible, but RAG & BONE (pictured above) was conspicuously missing from the usual line-up at the end of last year. Fans who rely on the label's typically abundant sample sale to keep the designer quotients of their wardrobes at an acceptable and more affordable level were left bewildered and bereft, but the word on the street (or on the computer screen as the case may be) says that the Rag & Bone sale will start tomorrow the 4th at its usual Chelsea Market venue with a healthy 60% discount this unofficial bit of information has been confirmed by the folks at Mizhattan, so if there's no sale there tomorrow, go bitch at them.

That's not the only sale going on this week.
Soiffer Haskin is holding a sale form the women's luxury brand AGNONA through Thursday the 5th. Originally known as a luxury cashmere and camelhair fabric supplier, Agnona has become a fully-fledged luxury lifestyle line under its current owner Ermenegildo Zegna with whom it shares its creative director, former YSL designer Stefano Pilati who has subtly amped up the classic label's fashion sensibility.

For guys uninterested in braving Rag & Bone's inevitably crushing crowds, up and coming sportswear CADET has a similarly vintage inspired look and will be holding its seasonal sale not far away at 69 Eighth Avenue starting tomorrow through Sunday.

A few blocks away on Greenwich Avenue, the much admired boutique PERSONNEL of NEW YORK is holding its seasonal basement sale from tomorrow through Saturday the 7th featuring savings from 25% to 80% off selections from current and past seasons. Those willing to brave the steep staircase downstairs will find great deals from designers like Mara Hoffman, Won Hundred, Grenson and Mark McNairy just to name a few. Get there early to snag the best items.

There's more for guys with refined sartorial sensibilities this week at the New York branch of THE ARMOURY in TriBeca . The meticulously merchandised store will be sharing its seasonal clearance with the popular English furnishings label DRAKE'S featuring its coveted ties, pocket squares and scarves. A few blocks north in NoLita, bespoke specialist SEIZE sur VINGT will kick off its seasonal sale offering up to 80% off previous season's merchandise. Both sales kick off on Thursday the 5th.

Finally, Saturday the 7th brings HUGO BOSS's sample sale at Soiffer Haskin. Those who find the brand's regular autumn samples-only sale at it's West Chelsea showroom to be too limiting sidewise, should find a more favorable selection here, even if the prices might be just a bit higher.
